1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, or to provide information to website operators. "Similar technologies" includes local storage, pixels, and other client-side mechanisms used for comparable purposes.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR.

2. Categories of cookies we use

2.1 Strictly necessary

These are essential to provide you with the website and its core functionality. They do not require your consent under PECR regulation 6(4)(b).

2.2 Analytics (optional)

If we enable analytics in future, we will load these only with your consent. They help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it. We do not use analytics cookies that profile you or share data with third parties for marketing.

No analytics cookies are currently loaded.

2.3 Marketing

We do not currently use marketing cookies. If this changes, we will update this notice and seek consent before loading any such cookies.

3. Managing your preferences

You can change your preferences at any time:

Withdrawing consent for analytics or marketing cookies does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal (UK GDPR Art. 7(3)).

4. Third-party cookies

We do not currently set third-party tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google LLC); Google may set basic technical cookies in the course of serving font files. We will replace this with self-hosted fonts if this becomes material to your privacy.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry consensus on how to respond to this signal. We honour your settings made via our cookie banner. We do not currently change behaviour based on the DNT header.

6. Contact and complaints

Questions about cookies? Write to hello@justdsars.com.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
